This poor man just stepped out for a smoke and was trapped in an elevator 41 hours...

They may have found out because i saw some dude on the ladder and it seemed like toward the end about at 40 hours he knew he was going to get out.

i bet they did something to let him know but it just took them a long time to get the thing fixed.

and it was hours until they tried to get him out, let alone how long it took for him to ACTUALLY get out

and about the cell phone in it you can see him pull something out of his pocket it might have been a cell phone and also the year was 1999 cell phones wern't as popular as they are today.
